Fishing Trends

In the spring we usually look for the whiting to show up first, but believe it or not...usually the blues and spanish show up at the same time.  If we're lucky we get a spot run in the spring also.

March and April are usually pot-luck due to the wind and water conditions. The fishing can be great at these times. As the water warms, the fishing can only get better.

May and June are great months for the float (King Mackerel) fishermen, the spanish jiggers, and the flounder pounders.

June, July, August, and September are open for every fish possible in the inshore waters.

Mid September and October is when we see the big mullet migration. These are the most productive months for our area.  Monster fish are commonly caught during these months.

October and November is when we see our big spot run.

November and December are months for whiting, trout and red fish.
